Breast or Bottle?
The other day I brought my daughter to the Zoo Safari of West Palm Beach, FL. It was a beautiful sunny day. We were walking along the lake when an unfortunately common sight caught my eyes. There was a baby girl, about nine-month old, sucking her bottle of milk in her stroller. Next to the baby, facing the opposite side there was her father. In his right hand he held a huge soda that he was drinking absorbed in emptiness. His left hand was absently holding the bottle to his daughter’s mouth. They both were swallowing fluids, gazing at nobody and nothing in opposite directions.
In a glance I saw the look of that baby while sucking from the bottle. In the lightning of a second I remembered the long breast-feedings of my daughter, who during two years and half had my breast at her disposal. That look touched me. She didn’t know, but I did. Diminishing Breast Milk Production?
I’ve been instructed by my gynecologist to take Dostinex to diminish my milk production, because my breast were becoming hard and I was feeling pain. I was taking it out manually but it wasn’t enough.
I took two pills, one each day, but now I fear my milk could stop. Is there any risk?
