In Birth As Well As in Sex
The approach to birth cannot change if the medical care remains its only background To understand birth in a different way, it has to be associated with sexuality.
Many women are scared because of what they learned about the usual birth care, movies and TV Shows, or through perinatal rumors that always pops around a pregnant woman. To give them confidence, its not suffice saying that birth is a physiological process. That’s truth, but doesn’t really touch the deep emotional level, where the fear comes form.

Contractions: What Are They and What Are They For?

As the name implies, contraction means that something is contracting, and the organ that contracts is the uterus.
It has a format similar to a birthday balloon and inside it there is the baby. The place where we give the corresponding node in the balloon corresponds to the cervix and the air inside the bladder corresponds to the amniotic fluid. As a birthday balloon is made of a plastic material, the uterus is made of a sturdy muscle that contracts to push the baby’s head against the cervix and thus help to open this (expansion) to the output of baby.

Exercising During Labor Reduces the Chance of C-Section and Pain

Practicing physical therapy during childbirth increases the pain tolerance, reduces drug use and decreases the time until the baby’s birth, concludes a study at the University Hospital of USP.
